Sanlorenzo lays the keel of the first 72Steel

The new flagship of the superyacht fleet will be the largest ever built by the yard: In a very private ceremony in the presence of the owner, the keel of the first Sanlorenzo 72Steel was laid last Saturday, marking the official recognition of the start of construction of the future flagship of the superyacht fleet.The 72Steel will be a totally innovative project in respect to the previous one while maintaining Sanlorenzo's unmistakable style and DNA: an imposing 72-metre long metal yacht, five decks and a volume of 1850 GT, which will be launched in 2025, the second unit of the same line has also been sold.
